The Kiosk features an intuitive and user-friendly interface, making it easy for customers to complete their transactions. However, it’s helpful to be familiar with the functions available for customers if they need assistance.
Frictionless transactions
Most customers can complete their transactions seamlessly in just three simple steps:
1, Place items on the kiosk
Customers should place all their items on the kiosk at the same time, they don’t need to scan them one by one.
2, Confirm basket
They can confirm their basket by pressing the button on the screen. They can make edits if needed.
3, Payment
Finally, they tap their cards or badges on the payment terminal or badge reader.

We also have other payment flows such as reading QR codes or badges to authenticate the customer. Reach out to our team to consult on the most suitable version for your usecase.
'What’s This?' screen
If the AI is uncertain about its decision, the kiosk will display a “What’s this?” screen with the top predictions, allowing the customer to manually select the correct option. This situation may arise due to:
- Similar products in the inventory (e.g., Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Zero).
- Products partially obscured from the top camera view.
- Insufficient reference photos or poor-quality/diversity of reference images.
The Kiosk will display the most likely products at the top. If the correct product isn’t listed among the first few predictions, customers can tap the ‘Show more items’ button to view additional options and access the inventory search bar. If the item shown isn’t something to charge for, it can be discarded by tapping 'Ignore this item'.

Editing the basket
Customers can edit their basket by tapping the ‘Edit’ button, then the pencil icon next to the product name, which allows them to select a different item.

Delete items from the basket
To remove items from the basket, customers can tap the 'Edit' button, then the pencil icon next to the item’s name, and then the ‘Delete’ item button. They need to confirm the action by tapping ‘OK’ on the pop-up window.

Adding items to the basket
In case the kiosk hasn't detected something, customers can add missing items manually. To add items, tap the ‘Add’ button at the bottom of the screen after the checkout screen displays, then either use the search bar or select from the products within the categories.

'Aborted Purchase' alert
If products are removed before a successful payment, the ‘Aborted Purchase’ feature activates, triggering an alert screen and sound to notify staff of the aborted transaction. (The sound level can be adjusted in the ‘Settings’ menu.)
During the initial days of operation, it’s advisable to instruct customers to wait for the green tick on the kiosk to confirm that their transaction has been successfully completed. If a customer removes their tray right after using their bank card, it may trigger the 'Aborted Purchase' feature, even if the payment has been processed successfully.
Please note that for weighted items, customers should keep their item on the scale until the transaction is complete.

Placing items on the Kiosk
Customers can place all their items on the Deligo kiosk at once: there's no need to scan items one by one. If more items are added, the basket will automatically update.
Hands off the kiosk base: Once all items are placed and scanning begins, customers should remove their hands from above the kiosk base until the transaction is completed and the green check mark is displayed on the screen. This helps maintain good visibility of the items throughout the transaction. If a hand is detected on the kiosk, a ‘please remove your hand’ prompt will appear on the screen.
