Aborted Purchase

Screen and sound notifications for aborted purchases

If products are removed before a successful payment, the 'Aborted Purchase' feature triggers an alert screen and sound to notify staff about the aborted transaction. You can adjust the sound level in the Settings menu, as described here.

When hosting the kiosk during the first few days of operation, it's recommended to instruct customers to wait for the green tick on the kiosk to confirm their transaction's successful completion. If a customer quickly removes their tray after paying with their bank card, it may trigger the Aborted Purchase feature, even if the payment has been successfully processed.

Please note that for weighted items, users should keep the item on the scale until the end of the transaction as well.
